Great Pacific Northwest - U of I EXPLORERS Photolog

Our story...

The Great Pacific Northwest tour allowed our alumni to see the vastly changing scenery of the Columbia & Snake Rivers, as well as go in depth to learn the history of Sacajawea, the Lewis & Clark expedition, the B Reactor, and the Nez Perce tribe. With six ports to explore and many additional excursion to choose, there was never a lack of opportunity for knowledge or beautiful scenery. The American Empress riverboat exceeded many expectations of our travelers. In return, the American Empress staff stated that this tour had the best group of travelers, as they have never seen the dance floor so packed. Everyone was extremely friendly and the atmosphere felt as if we all had known each other for many years. The UIAA EXPLORERS group was the largest alumni group represented on the ship.
