Panama Enchantment, January 2017 - U of I EXPLORERS Photolog

Our Story...

From the historic Panama Canal, a masterpiece of 20th-century engineering, to the powder-soft beaches of Cabo San Lucas and the colorful colonial architecture of Cartagena, the treasures of the Americas were ours to discover on this 17 day cruise. We left from Los Angeles, and from there, visited the beachside charms of San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, and Acapulco. We visited Puerto Quetzal, a gateway to Antigua that enchanted all of us with its quaint cobbled lanes and breathtaking volcanoes. We visited  Puntarenas in Costa Rica, before transiting through the legendary engineering marvel of the 20th century, the Panama Canal, en route to Cartagena, a lovely city of open-air cafes and grand plazas. Before ending our trip in Miami, we relaxed on Grand Cayman’s picture-perfect beaches lapped by crystalline blue waters. These are our photos.
